Super star Mohan Lal's much expected movie for the season was destined to be 'Alexander The Great' whose crew were in full form to get the movie to theaters for this Vishu but failed to do so.

A song and a couple of scenes that were pending to be shot were made, in haste in the last weeks of March and the theaters were informed of the release of the movie, scheduled for 15th April. The posters were pasted and the fans were in all expectations to see their star, for this Vishu. But the latest news is that the producer V B K Menon has to move away from the word and to shift the release due to some economic problems associated with the movie .The revised dates of release is not yet announced.

Anyhow, the change of this movie's release will affect the next Lal release 'Oru Naal Varum' which is now scheduled for first week of May.

Two other small movies got into theaters for this Vishu. Kalabhavan Mani's ‘Pulliman' made a good release in forty centers while ‘T D Dasan Standard VI B’, made to a dozen theatres, yesterday with average responses.
