Megastar Mammootty who seems to have extended a positive support to Thilakan to end the issue on Saturday, clarified yesterday that he dislikes becoming the mediator in the issue, even if AMMA, the association of Malayalam Movie Artists, asks him to be one. The actor said that he likes to follow the regulations stipulated by AMMA and these present projections of him and AMMA in different opinions on the issue seems to a planned strategy to corner him. The actor reminded that he had always been a silent follower of the organization and its demands.

Meanwhile, Thilakan unleashed a fresh round of attack at the Megastar on Sunday, calling his appeal for peace a drama. He said that even though Mammootty made a press conference, he didn't call him or talk to him even after 28 hours from the conference. However, Thilakan also maintained that Mammootty was not the superstar behind his ban and all those doubts raised as some media men misinterpreted his words.
