Malayalam film actress Navya Nair got married to businessman Santosh Menon at a ceremony held at CKHS ground in Cheppad in Alleppy district this afternoon. The marriage was held according to traditional Kerala Hindu customs. A grand reception will be held in the evening in Changancherry.

The wedding was attended by over 1000 people. Her well wishers from the industry including Suresh Gopi, Thilakan, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Divya Unni, Menaka Suresh, Sona Nair, Tamil actor and director Cheran and Kerala politicians Pinarayi Vijayan, Ministers G. Sudhakaran and Paloli Mohammedkutty, R. Balakrishna Pillai and his actor son K.B. Ganesh Kumar attended.

Navya Nair began her career in films with the Malayalam movie ‘Ishtam’ in 2001. The following year she won the State Best Actress award for film ‘Nandanam’, Late she went on to carve a name all the south Indian language films.

In Malayalam Navya has five films yet to be completed by the time of her marriage. The homely Navya films in Tamil Azhagiya Theeye, Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy, Mayakkannadi, Aadum Koothu and Raman Thediya Seethai all got her much critical acclaim. She has a yet to be released film in Tamil Rasikkum Seemane.
