Theevandi for a silent release

‘Patham Nilayile Theevandi’ (The train in the tenth floor) - an experimental venture featuring Innocent in the lead role, made a silent release yesterday. The movie directed by Joshy Mathew in the scripts of Dennis Joseph made to around 30 centres. Produced by director Jose Thomas, the movie is a take on the few affected by a mental situation called 'Schizophrenia'.

Innocent appears in a varied makeup and mannerisms in a serious role in this movie, as Shankaran, a father who is waiting for letters of his son even while undergoing treatment at a mental hospital. Jayasuriya appears as his son Ramu, while Anoop Menon and Meera Nandan are also in the cast lines. The movie will also present a new cinematographer to Malayalam cinema - Vinod Illampally'. Edited by Beena Paul, the movie will have music by S P Venkatesh.
