After donning the screenlife of army colonal in recent hits like 'Kurukshetra', Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal will be now known as Lt. Colonel in real life too. He has been commissioned into the Territorial Army, which is a citizen force of the Indian army.

He is indeed the first Indian actor to have joined the territorial army of the country. As per his request the age limit of 42 has been eased for the super star, who is now aged 48.
