Sri Vidya award adorns Meera Jasmine

Meera Jasmine will be presented with 'Sri Vidya Award' at the 'second remembrance day' of the veteran actress Sri Vidya to be held at Trivandrum on 19 October. Meera Jasmine has been acclaimed widely in Kerala for her stunning performances and later she made a mark in the Tamil industry too.

She is also the recipient of the Filmfare award for the best actress for her performances in the Malayalam films 'Kasthoori Mann', 'Achuvinte Amma' and now for 'Ore Kadal'. Apart from these awards, 'Sri Vidya Award' is being given out to laurel her acting proficiency.

According to Sri Vidya Trust president Ganesh Kumar, Meera Jasmine has been selected for the award for her brilliant performance in a Malayalam film titled 'Ore Kadal'.

Kerala Minister Premachandiran will honor the actress on the occasion.
