Just as the Ramadan films are getting encouraging results from the box office, the countdown for the films for the next season has already begun. This year’s Christmas season will have four big movies in the contest for people’s approval. Mammootty will have his bilingual 'Vande Matharam' which also features Tamil actor Arjun in an important role. Mohanlal will present his 'Red Chillies' in which he is teaming up with the popular action director Shaji Kailas, after a gap of a year.

Prithviraj will have a ‘Lolipop’, which is directed by hit maker Shafi, after their last year hit ‘Chocolate' .The movie will also have Kunchakko Boban and Jayasuriya in important roles. Dileep after a gap of six months will have a release in the new comedy thriller ‘Crazy Rascals', directed by Deepu Karunakaran .

The only big film that will grace the theatres before the Christmas season is AMMA's ‘Twenty Twenty' which will have all of these stars in its leading roles. The movie is expected to be on theatres by the last week of October.
