Mohanlal's new flick 'Pakal Nakshatrangal' has completed its first schedule at the capital city. The movie features Mohanlal as Siddharthan, a director of many hit movies, who is presently into frailties and problems in his personal and family life.

Directed by Rajeevnath, the movie also features super star Suresh Gopi in a role of equal importance.

Actor Anoop Menon, who had done the lead role in Rajeevnath's last movie ‘Moksham’, pens the script for 'Pakalnakshatrangal'. He also acts in an important role in the movie. The film has in the cast Murali, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Manianpillai Raju, Samvritha Sunil, Kalpana, Sindhu Menon and Sukumari.

'Pakalnakshatrangal' will be restarting its shoot after Onam by the third week of September. The movie which will be completed in two schedules will have some portions shot at Mumbai.
