Mohanlal has finally decided not to go for 'Karthika Thirunal Karthikeyan’, which was planned to start the next month.

Mohanlal, after reading the complete script of the film was unimpressed on its regular storylines and has asked its director T.S Suresh Babu to either to go for a fresh story or to wait for some more time.

Mohanlal's recent similar larger-than-life characters have made a debacle with his every recent films sinking in the box office.

Mohanlal will now start his new film 'Madambi' by scriptor-director B Unnikrishanan, which also feature Kavya Madhavan as the heroine of Mohanlal, for the first time in her career. The film will now become the Onam movie from Mohanlal, who will have two more releases before this in 'Aakashagopuram' and Sathyan Anthikkad's untitled film.
