Mammootty's Vishu film 'Annan Thampi' starts its shooting at Pollachi. The films which feature the super star in double roles also have two heroines, one of them presented by 'Rock N Roll' fame Lakhmi Rai.

Mammootty who is presently in the sets of ‘Pazhassi Raja’ will join the film by this week end, to complete this movie in a single schedule.

Directed by Anwar Rasheed who delivered the star, the biggest hit in his career in 'Rajamaannikyam', the film tells the story of two brothers with extremely different attitudes and characters.

At present, the director is shooting the flashback sequences of the childhood of superstar Mammootty, with two twin child artists, t en-year-old Sonu and Monu who were selected after a search of many weeks, screening 157 pairs of twins.

The movie is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, who had been with the star to create hits like ‘Thommanum Makkalum’ and ‘Pothen Vava’.
