Dileep and Kavya was the most successful filmi duo in Malayalam in the last five years. They had been together in more than fifteen films of which most including Meesa Madhavan, Runway, Lion and Thenkasi Pattanam were big hits. But now it seems that the favorite filmi couple will have a big gap before uniting for another film.

After Inspector Garud that hit the silver screen early this year, no other film has been announced with them in the lead. The present year’s new projects of Dileep, including the films by Blessy, Rajasenan, Jose Thomas and Joshy does not have Kavya in the female lead.

Kavya on the other hand has been concentrating more on superstar films. She was the title heroine in Suresh Gopi's Nadhiya Kollapetta Rathri, while she is also casted opposite Mammootty’ in K K Rajeev's project. Moreover the actress is now on to relaunch herself in Tamil with Siddhique's Sadhu Mirandal.

So it is definite for their viewers to make a long wait to see them together again.
