Vishu films make a good start

Two of the Vishu films that were released last Saturday opened to a good start.

Vinodayathra, the film by Sathyan Anthikkad was released in 45 centres .The film with Meera Jasmine as the heroine, is widely opined as a family cinema .The flick which also has Mukesh and Seetha in prominent roles. Three songs by Ilayaraja are penned by Vayalar Sharath.

Chotta Mumbai which was released in 54 centres has Mohanlal playing Vasco, a gang leader .The film is said to be a thriller, which satisfies Lal’s fans with a lot of comedy and action. Bhavana is the heroine in this film which has scripts by Benny P.Nayarambalam. The film has a length of two hour and 25 minutes.
