Suresh Gopi is in all thrills as his latest film Detective presenting him in double roles is already hailed as a super hit. Suresh Gopi plays Appan Menon an IPS officer with a big walrus moustache and varied looks, loosely modeled on Hrishiraj Singh, I P S officer shot to limelight by raiding Riyan studio, owned by another I P S officer, on the way to end video piracy in the state. Padmapriya plays Susan Thomas a social crusader and booker prize winning writer ala Arundhathi Roy. Vimala Raman plays Janaki who is Appan’s childhood sweetheart and now wife. The film is scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman.
