Mammootty as 'Macbeth'?

Ace Malluwood director, Jayaraj has a special inclination towards Shakespherean classics. He has shown it many times before with the adaptations of works of Shakesphere.

His Kaliattam-a filmi adaptation of Othello' has won the best actor award for Suresh Gopi and many other acclodates in many national circuits.

He has also made an adaptation of Antony and cleopatra as Kannaki starring Nandithadas in the lead. Instead of war in the play, the film has cock fight as its background.

He is now planning to make an adaptation of 'Macbeth' for his future film. "I would like Mammootty to do the lead role and have talked to him about it" says Jayaraj.
