Another Sequel in the offer

The veteran director and hit maker I V Sasi is now planning a sequel to his 1978 blockbuster Angadi, which featured the late action hero Jayan in the lead. The sequel titles as Kala Bazaar is also written by the original scriptwriter of Angadi - T. Damodaran Master.

Sasi told about a market controlled by the dreaded CITU head load workers and rice traders of Palyam market, Kozhikode in the original Angadi which was the biggest hit of the season. But in Kala Bazaar, he is attempting to tell the story of arms and cocaine market. Suresh Gopi who is in the lead will now fight in a market place against a full quorum of cocaine dealers and gun runners. Padmapriya will play the heroine in the new film.

Sasi is also doing a remix of the popular song Pavada Venam.., of Angady for the new film. This remix track is done by M Jayachandran, who has become famous for his recent remix tracks in films like Pacha Panam Thatte and Sakunthala.
