Mammootty's Mayavi will get completed by this week end. The film in which Mammootty plays Mahi IAS alias Mayavi is produced by P Rajan under the banner of Vaishakha Movies.

Mayavi is a character who fights against injustice wherever he sees it, but never takes credit for all the superhuman efforts he makes.

Mammootty's last film with Shafi was Thommanum Makkalum but the actor is working with Rafi Mecartin's script for the first time.

Gopika plays the heroine in the film. The film also has Sai Kumar, Manoj K Jayan, Vijaya Raghavan, Anand, Jagathy, Keerikadan Jose, Spadikam George, KPAC Lalitha and many others in prominent roles.

The songs in the film are penned by Vayalar Sharatchandra Varma set to music by Alex Paul. Sanjeev Shankar wields camera for the film.
