Shaji Kailash over the moon

Director Shaji Kailash is a happy man in Malluwood now. His Baba Kalyani with Mohanlal as hero is doing good. Also he has accepted to work with Dileep next.

It may be recalled that the director before Baba Kalyani, he had signed up Mohanlal for a movie titled Alibhai. But, due to some circumstances, the film was dropped. He recently announced that he is walking out of the project. Many thought the project would be shelved. However the producers, Ashirwad Films, are very much interested in making the film. They confirm that Mohanlal is going to play the lead role.

However Shaji Kailash will not direct the movie. Search for a new director is on. This will be one of his first films in the year 2007, as soon as he completes his Sholay.
