Classmates are becoming a growing rage among the masses day after day which will make the film the biggest grosser of the year. Apart from the 36 release centres where the film is carrying on steadily, the film was released in another 13 centres last week.

The film has collected around 3 crores as gross collections within the first 24 days of its release. The film is expected to complete its 100 days at least in a 20 centres. As the Ramzan month is on, the film will face no more competition in the coming days as no film is prepared to make a release in this month.

The next release in Malayalam is due only on the 25th of October, that is 30 days from now, which will help Classmates to become the sole centre of collections for the time being.

As the first film with a group appeal has made it big in the box office, more and more films are in the planning stage which commits a number of young heroes together in the lead.

This new trend will help the young heroes to gather an upper hand in an industry which is tied with the superstars for the last two decades.
