New plans for Lal

The latest buzz is that Shaji Kailash would direct Mohanlal for a movie titled Baba Kalyani since their earlier venture Ali Bhai has been temporarily shelved.

Producer Antony Perumbavoor has decided to go ahead with Baba Kalyani. Expected to hit the screens this Christmas, the film features Biju Menon, Jagathy and Inderjeet. Mamta Mohandas is tipped to play the heroine in the movie.

Mohanlal will have a new look for the film and has reportedly agreed to reduce some of his weight. Mamta Mohandas plays a lady scribe in the movie.

A major portion of the movie would be shot in Ernakulam.
