For the past twenty years every star from Malluwood enjoyed a passion to act in Tamil films and to get noticed there. Mammootty and Jayaram have atleast a dozen of films in Tamil while other forerunning heroes of Malluwood like Suresh Gopi, Mohanlal and Dileep did make their presence felt with the few that they managed to do in Tamil.

But now some heroes of Tamil industry is thinking the other way. They are trying to make an opening in Malayalam. The important heroes to make a try in Malayalam in near future includes Bala and Jeeva.

Jeeva who made it big with surprise hits like Raam and Dishyum is acting in an equivalent role with Mohanlal in the flick to be released recently 'Keerthi Chakra'. Bala who had done some good movies like 'Anpu ' is acting opposite Navya Nair in Anil's next flick 'Kalabham'. As both these films are to hit box office shortly, the fate of these actors with Malluwood cinema will be known in a quite while.
