Mammootty's Pothen Vava will go to floors on 5 August. The movie to be directed by Joshi for Lal Creations has several big names in the industry. The likes of Nedumudi Venu and Gopika play prominent roles.

However the highlight of the movie is that popular pop singer Usha Uthup has accepted to play the role of Mammootty's mother in the movie.

The movie would be completed in one go.

Sources close to Joshi said, 'With everything ready, we are planning to complete the film in just 45 days.'

Mammootty is a busy bee with a spate of offers in his kitty. Pothen Vava is supposedly a movie on human relationships, and is expected for release by the year-end.
