Asif Ali in 'Amar Akbar Anthony'

Asif Ali will be seen in a cameo in the movie 'Amar Akbar Anthony' which stars Jayasurya, Indrajith and Prithviraj in the title roles. Directed by Nadirshah, the movie is touted to be an out and out entertainer. Namitha Pramod dons the role of a cinematic dancer in the movie which will see her as the leading lady.

Interestingly, Asif Ali had gone on record saying that he will not be doing any cameos here after. However, he seems to be making an exception for this movie. His accepting the role indicates that it will be something interesting like the cameos he did in Ranjith's 'Indian Rupee' and Anwar Rasheed's 'Ustad Hotel'.
