Dileep to play the lead in a Tamil movie

Dileep will play the protagonist in a Tamil movie. The movie is being directed by K. S. Manikantan. Manikantan's previous movie was the 2013 released 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasayaa', which was a comedy entertainer.

The Dileep movie will also be a comic saga. The script is being readied now. Dileep last acted in a Tamil movie in 2002. It is after 13 years that the actor is stepping back into Kollywood. He also has a multi-lingual movie, originally shot in Kannada in the offing. He will join the Tamil project only after completing 'Life of Josutty' and 'Chandrettan Evideya'.
