Dileep starrer 'Ivan Maryadharaman' has been in the news for its elaborate sets. A major part of the movie has been shot at an awe inspiring palace. The making of this palace alone cost around one and a half crores and is probably the most expensive sets ever for a Malayalam movie.

Anto Joseph is the movie's producer, and direction is by Suresh Divakar. Girish Menon, who has a wealth of experience putting up many a sets, is the art director. From the palace, Palani mountains and train track is visible lending a nice frame.

The palace itself, a 24,000 sq feet mansion, offers a visual splendor, rising high in the rugged landscape. More than a hundred workers worked relentlessly for over two months to make this ply wood- steel-plaster of paris palace. Minute details have been taken care of.
