Megastar Mammootty, known for his philanthropic ways has agreed to take over the treatment of Delhi based Lekshmy , who is ailing from acid attack. The story of the youngster who is living with a deformed face following the acid attack was made public through the Aamir Khan show 'Satyameva Jayate'.It was Rassol Pookkutty, who after watching the show informed Mammootty about the lady. And Mammootty in no time called up Aamir Khan to express his willingness to help her through his Ayurveda initiative 'Pathanjali'.

Aamir Khan immediately gave Mammootty the details about the youngster and Lekshmy has already started her treatment at Pathanjali, located at Kuttippuram. The firm has earlier supported many people when a fire broke out in Tamil Nadu affecting hundreds of people.
