The shoot for the new movie from Mammootty 'Fireman' has started at Kanjikkod near Palakkad. Scripted and Directed by Deepu Karunakaran, the movie features Mammootty as a fireman named Vijay who has to deal with a big fire in a city.

Sidhiue, Salimkumar and Sadik are also part of the cast of the movie which is produced by Milan Jaleel in the banner of Galaxy films. Rahul Raj is in charge of music while Sinol, an associate to Ravi Varman debuts in malayalam as cinematographer.
