John Abraham starrer 'Madras Cafe' is facing protest in Tamil Nadu and lately in UK.. exhibitors in Tamil Nadu has decided not to screen the film to prevent any law and order situation in the state.. the movie is under wrath for allegedly portraying Tamilians and LTTE in bad light.

In a rare incident the protest has crossed borders and went to U.K. where the screenings was stopped.. there are reports of Sri Lankans in the UK forcing exhibitors not to screen MADRAS CAFE. Its U.K exhibitor Cineworld has decided not to screen the film..

John Abraham production company J.A. entertainment and Viacom18 in a statement has urged people to see the film without being biased and judge it on its merit and not politicize a creative product.

Seeman, head of the We Tamils has reportedly called the film "nauseatingly anti-Tamil."

Karunanidhi has asked Jayalalitha the C.M. of Tamil Nadu to take proper ‘action’ and look into the matter of allegations in the film...
