An actor par excellence with some versatile skills is South Indian star Mohanlal. A man respected by the whole of Indian cinema turns 53 today. The legendary actor celebrates his birthday with the whole unit of Ilayathalapathy starrer “Jilla”. The whole unit surprised him with a special cake on the sets itself. Mohanlal and Vijay are currently shooting for a mega budget movie “Jilla” , and the shooting has just commenced at Chalakudy.

He has acted in a little over 300 Malayalam cinemas and not to forget the Tamil and Hindi industries as well. In Tamil he has not just given yet another character roles, but the likes of “Iruvar” , “Siraichalai” and also the recent “Unnai Pol Oruvan” proved his power packed acting. He has made his mark in Bollywood too with a few roles, but the most prominent and memorable one will be his part in “Company” by RGV.
