Actor Vijay has wrapped up shooting for director Vijay's 'Thalaivaa' and will start canning for debutante director Nesan's 'Jilla' from June. Also, he recently conducted free wedding for 15 poor and needy couples. Speaking at the 7th Vijay Awards function, the actor revealed that he is looking forward to the release of Bharat Bala's Dhanush starrer and AR Rahman musical 'Mariyaan'. It is worth mentioning that the actor was awarded the Favourite Entertainer by Vijay TV; the actor received the award from Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Hassan. He had two releases last year, namely Shankar's 'Nanban' and AR Murugadoss' 'Thupakki', the latter being a show stealer, clinching a handful of awards at the function.
