The prestigious cinema for the Kannada film history ÂKranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna made in Rs.25 crores plus staring challenging star Darshan, Dr Jayaprada, Nikita Tukral and 35 prominent Kannada cinema actors is now in the hands of former KFCC President and most of the Tamil super star Rajanikanth films distributor HD Gangaraj.
For the entire Karnataka HD Gangaraj has taken up the distribution network. The agreement with regard to it was reached by producer of KVSR on Wednesday says excited director of the film Naganna. Naganna has given many hits starring Dr Vishnuvardhana in his career. He considers this film as the pride of Kannada cinema history.
The new record added to the film is the No.1 music director of Kannada cinema V Harikrishna has completed the re-recording for the film in 25 days time working day and night.
Already final mixing of special effects for the film has been completed at Manjari Studio in the able workmanship of Rajan.
According to director Naganna the film of less than 3 hours duration ÂKrantiveera Sangolli Rayanna is hitting the silver screen in September end.
Meanwhile there is a new move running in the mind of the director Naganna. He wants complete safety to the investment of the producer Anand Appugol. The Kannada films for a few weeks and at least non Kannada films for one week holiday will be sought with the concerned authorities when ÂKVSRÂ is released. Naganna considers ÂKVSRÂ is an Indian film as the contents are related to war against British rule by Rayanna and Kittur Rani Chennamma. This would be a right respect for massive investment film. He requests all language theatres to screen ÂKVSRÂ for at least one week.
In case the trend in the mind of director Naganna is floated, it would enable lot of other producers to take up more than Rs.20 crore projects in Kannada as there are many such subjects in the historical and mythological type of films.
