After Selvaraghavan, it is now the turn of director Suraaj to clarify that no shooting schedule was disrupted because of Anushka.

Earlier, reports claimed that Anushka was held up in Georgia, where she was shooting for Selvaraghavan's 'Irandam Ulagam', and hence the schedules of her other films, including Suraaj directed 'Alex Pandian' hit a roadblock.

Following this, Selvaraghavan posted on his microblogging page that the unit of Irandam Ulagam was in fact going ahead of schedule and there was no delay in the shaping up of the film. Also, dates of no actor were wasted, he said.

Now Suraj has said that Anushka has not delayed 'Alex Pandian', which has Karthi Sivakumar in the lead. "She finished almost all her portions and she is a thorough professional. The remaining will be shot after her return and till then, we will be canning scenes on Karthi and Santhanam."
