‘Billa 2’ is getting bigger with each passing day and is making headlines increasing the eagerness among fans who awaiting this biggie that’s slated for a summer release. The latest is that the film’s satellite rights have been bagged for a record price by Sun TV!

This is said to be the highest price for an Ajith starrer for the buzz around the film is huge, thanks to the stupendous success of Thala’s ‘Mankatha’. Recently the audio rights were bagged for an undisclosed whooping price by Sony, again for a price so high it’s the first for an Ajith starrer! The overseas theatricals have also been sold for a good rate. As per media reports three top production houses are eyeing the theatrical rights of ‘Billa 2’ that’s all set to see a huge opening.

‘Billa 2’, a prequel to 2007 blockbuster ‘Billa’ unravels how a commoner from Tamil Eelam, David, goes on to become Billa, one of the most dreaded underworld dons. Music is by Yuvan who has delivered nothing but super hits with Ajith in the past.
