Marriages are fixed in heaven. However Bollywood releases are pretty much fixed on earth. This is pretty much apparent from the fact that even as Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are getting married this weekend, their first film together in eight years - 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' - is releasing just three weeks down the line. One doubts whether this is indeed just a coincidence.
"By the look of affairs, it is quite apparent that this is a staged affair," comments an insider, "Talks about Riteish and Genelia being a couple have been on for ages now so there is nothing new to that. It is apparent that once they decided to be open about their relationship, they went ahead and signed a film, only to plan it in such a manner that there is hype at both ends."
However Riteish denies that there was so much planning at work. He says, "When 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' was offered to me, I wasn't aware who would be my co-star. I liked the script and said 'yes' to doing it. Later I was told by the makers that they were thinking of roping in Genelia and I said 'wow, that's great'. Simple. There was nothing beyond that."
Sure Riteish, whatever be the case, here is wishing you and Genelia a great life ahead and for audience to sing aloud 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' once you hit the big screen on 24th February.
