Noted producer of Kannada cinema who has started believing doing work is more important than talking has resigned from the position of head of the Title Committee at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

The rules made are thrown in the wind and the recent example of Title Committee overlooked by the KFCC irked Soorappa Babu. More than that Babu has not been able to do justice for his own title 'Varada'. Producer Shankare Gowda registered the title 'Varadanayaka'. Any addition to previous registered titles not permitted. That guideline is not followed. So I resigned from the position on 25th November 2011. From this resignation I am gaining friends in the industry is the opinion of Babu.

Meanwhile Soorappa Babu has deferred the Shivarajakumar starring 'Varada' and taken up 'Dashamukha' in the direction of Ravi Srivatsa. V Ravichandran, Devaraj, Ananthnag, Saritha, Avinash, Malavika, Chetan, Akanksha are in the cast of this film.
