Max India wants to make it big the next Sankranthi. Poola Rangadu, being directed by Veerabhadra Chowdary (Aha Na Pelanta, 2010), is fast reaching the stage of post-production and will be wrapped up by December end. The producer and the presenter RR Venkat Movies are planning to release the film on Jan. 14.

They say that the film will be the biggest one in the career of Sunil. To be released with the highest number of prints all over the world (that is, for a Sunil film), Poola Rangadu will be a musical entertainer, according to its producer K. Atchi Reddy.

Isha Chawla plays the female lead. Much like the music of Prema Kavali (the first outing of Atchi Reddy and Venkat), this musical (by Anoop Rubens) will be a hit, said the producer.

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ali, Pradeep Rawat, Ragu Babu, Devi Gill and others are the remainder star cast.

The film is touted to be a laugh riot where Sunil will play a comedic role.
