Tini Tom, the young actor who has now garnered great reviews for his performance in "Indian rupee' says that he wants to be selective in his roles rather than getting busy in cinema. Tini, who had earlier shown promise with his role in Renjith's 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' says that he wants to be in good and demanding roles rather than being in every offers that is coming his way.
A comedian and mimicry star during his early days in television, Tini says that acting in 'Indian rupee' with the guidance of director Renjith was just like a schooling in acting'. It has helped the actor to know his positives and to sharpen his abilities. Tini has even dropped two other offers that came his way while he was shooting for 'Indian rupee'. Tini maintains that had he gone for that films, he couldn't have done justice to the role of 'C.H, the right hand of Prithvi's character in the movie.Even though his first serious character is a big hit, Tini don't have plans to switch over to serious roles only, but will look for notable ones.
Tini Tom is currently in the sets of 'Thatsamayam Oru penkutty' directed by T K Rajeevkumar. He will be also seen with Mammootty in his bilingual "Shikari' after which he will join the movie 'hero' directed by Deepan with Prithviraj in the lead.
