South Indian star Bala has been one actor in Mollywood who was able to manage himself amidst heavy schedules for the last few years. The actor who had been to 28 Malayalam films in the last five years is appreciated for doing every kind of roles, be it the hero or villain in Malayalam films. Now the latest news is that he is trying a hand in Parallel films . Bala will be seen as a survey officer in the new movie titled as 'Sthalam'.The actor who is quite excited with the experience is trying to be in more serious off beat roles in the coming future.'Sthalam' will have the noted activist Kallen Pokkudan doing a key role.

As of now, Bala will be seen in many commercial films, the special one being the villain role opposite Asif Ali in the new movie under production 'Cowboy'.
