The results of the annual Nandi Awards for 2010 are reported to be out. The winners were announced by the jury headed by director N Shankar at a press meet.

According to reports, our ace filmmaker Gautam Menon has made it into the list of winners. Gautam has won the Best Screenplay Writer for 'Ye Maaya Chesave' - the Telugu version of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa'.

The director is currently busy in the remake of the movie in Hindi. Titled 'Prem Katha', the remake stars Prateik Babbar and 'Madrasapattinam' famed Amy Jackson.

Singer Chinmayi bagged award for Best Dubbing Artist while Samantha Ruth Prabhu won Special Jury Awards for the same movie.

On the other hand Nithya Menen received the Best Actress award for 'Ala Modalaindi', her debut movie in Telugu. The charming actress recently made waves with '180' and 'Veppam'.
