The senior actress of Mollywood, Sheela will play the character of mother to Mohanlal in the new movie directed by family hit maker, Sathyan Anthikkad. The movie which will tell the intense bonding between a mother and her only son, will be a village based flick with plenty of caricaturist regular characters of Sathyan Anthikkad. Biju Menon will also appear for the first time in this Sathyan movie which this yet to be titled.

Padmapriya is the heroine of the movie, which will be shot in and around Palakkad, by the second week of June. Also in the cast are Innocent, Mamukoya, K P A C Lalitha and Chembil Ashokan.

The pooja of the movie was held last week at A V M studios at Chennai. It was the music director of the movie Isaigjani Ilayaraja, who lit the ceremonial lamp in the function, which was attended by the movie's cast and crew.
