Doubles,' the megastar Mmammootty's new movie to grace the theatres for this Vishnu will have a number of Tamil stars in important roles. A movie that has Pondicherry as its backdrop, it is natural for 'doubles' to have stars like YG mahendran, Aanadnraj,Suresh and Avinash in pivotal roles.

YG Mahendran, a cousin of Vyjayanthimala and Latha Rajnikanth had been a costar of many important heroes of Tamil including Kamalhassan and Rajnikath. He will don the role of Pierre Sayip in the movie, who is the foster father of Giri and Gowry played by Mammootty and Nadia Moidhu. In fact this is the Malayalam debut of YG Mahendran, who debuted into films in 1971.

Tamil star suresh had been a popular hero in the eighties and had completed around two hundred and fifty films in Tamil, Telugu a, Kannada and Malayalam. He made a comeback four years ago with ' Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai' and with Ajith's ' Asal'. Suresh will be appearing as Micheal, the son of Pierre Sayip, in this movie.

Aanandharaj who debut with Pulanvicharana in 1990 had been a notable supporting star and villain in many big hits of Tamil.Anandharaj will come up a liquor baron Pathan, in the movie, who will be in a little negative shades in his Malayalam debut.

Avinash is the other important other language star in 'doubles'. He had been one much sought after Kannada actor who was featured in many big hits including 'Chandramukhi'. A native of Mysore, Avinash has acted in more than 200 movies and has won the Best Supporting Artiste State Award a couple of times. 'Though he finds the language tough, he is asking for a little moor time to make it big in Mollywood.

'Doubles' will get to theatres by the 15th of this month.
