Looks like music composer S S Kumaran is bitten hard by the direction bug. Even before the release of his maiden directorial venture ‘Theneer Viduthi’, he is ready for his second film as director.

Titled ‘Kerala Naattilam Pengaludaney’, the movie, though helmed by a music director, will have only three songs. “The film will be on a totally different platform,” informs Kumaran.

He says: “The knot of ‘Kerala Naatilam Pengaludaney’ will be loved by everyone. Direction has always attracted my attention. But still, music composing is my profession and I will continue it with glee.”

Interestingly, Kumaran is taking yet another avatar- that of an actor. “In a film to be directed by Sasi’s associate, I am playing the protagonist. In turn, the debutant director is doing an important role in Theneer Viduthi.”
