After their critically acclaimed hits 'Thanmaathra' and 'Bhramaram', Mohanlal will be back with director Blessy for the new movie titled as 'Pranayam'. The movie will tell a mature triangular love story in which Jayapradha will become the heroine.Another highlight of the movie will be Anupam Kher who will be donning the third important role in the film.

The shoot for the film will start rolling from next week at Kochi, where the scenes with Anupam Kher and Jayapradha' will be canned first. Mohanlal will join the crew after completing his part in the multistarrer 'Chinatown'.Blessy will also introduce a new cameraman Satish Kurup through the movie. ONV's lyrics will be tuned by M Jayachandran. 'Pranayam' will be an Onam release from Mohanlal.
