Mammootty’s Kannada film on fast tracks

Mammootty’s Kannada debut film ‘Shikari’ progressing fast. Last Saturday, Mammootty completed some important action scenes at Sapota Garden in Bangalore Palace.

In Karnataka, Mega Star Mammootty has captured the hearts of Kannada people even before his first film with his golden heart and down to earth attitudes.

People there were surprised to see Mammootty being so friendly with even the canteen boy and the snake charmer who was around on the sets of the film.

‘Shikari’ is a period film set in the 1940’s and Mammootty has an author backed role according to the director of the film. Poonam Bajpa is the heroine. Innocent, Ninasam Ashwath, Mohan, Aditya are also in the cast.

Though this film is readied as a by lingual in Kannada and Malayalam, the title for the Malayalam version is yet to be decided.
