Master Kishen turns Hero

At the age of 12 Master Kishen became the worlds youngest director from Care of Footpath. Now at the youngest age of 15 he is now in the lead role of the film tentatively titled as 15. The age of Master Kishen and title of the film also synchronize. The 10th standard student from Camlin English School in Vijayanagar, Bangalore, Master Kishen is the protagonist who holds mirror to the pains and pleasures of 15 years age group. He has a heroine but no romancing and touching on screen.
Another highlight of Master Kishen film is that his father Shrikanth former official of the income tax department is heading the megaphone. Siddarth the newcomer is scoring the music for this film from July 6th. Shrikanth is forming a private limited Company to produce this film.
The shooting has been planed in India and United States of America says Shrikanth who is finalizing the prominent cast for his film. Shrikanth has chosen three teenage girls to suit the height of Master Kishen. One of the three will be finalized.
Master Kishan was recently invited by India Development Service (IDS) to participate in a symposium Indias Children: Preserving Their Rights, Protecting Their Future that was held in Loyola University, Chicago. During this event Kishans directorial film Care of Footpath was screened from April 29th to May 2nd 2010.
Julia Pryce, from Loyola University Chicago, Diane Geraghty, J.D., Director, CIVITAS Child Law Center, Loyola University, Madhu Sridhar, CEO, Akshaya Patra Foundation, USA, Nicole Menezes, CHILDLINE, India, Rita Panicker, Director of Butterflies, India were other participants at the Symposium. Care of Footpath which portrays the theme Right to Education was selected to be shown in this event for providing inspiration and motivation to empower children which was a primary focus of the seminar.
This is the first time a Kannada film was screened in such Symposium as a subject of study & discussion. After every screening of the film Kishan participated in a question and Answer interactive session.
Kishan feels very happy that his first film was screened to scholars, senior professors, donors and all the participants at such a big Symposium.
