Finally, Jayasuriya is entering another phase of his career, doing more powerful roles than those he had been in the earlier stages. As he is getting ready to meet the viewers with the big film ‘Nallavan’ in four different get ups, Jayasuriya is now offered with another big role.

He will play the lead in the new movie titled as ‘Payyans’ directed by Leo Thaddeus. Director Lal who is fresh from his recent hit, ‘In Ghost House Inn’ will come up as the lead character's father in the new movie. Jagathy, Saikumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Guinness Pakru are the others in the cast of ‘Payyans’, which will start its shoot shortly, at Kochy. While Alphonse handles the music section, P A Naushad produces this movie.

Leo Thaddeus is the director who made a promising debut with the movie ‘Pachamarathanalil’.
