The Kannada film ‘Yaksha’ features all the family members of producer TP Siddaraju (of Dhuniya fame) in the cast. TP Siddaraju is appearing for the first time as a politician, his first son Yogish is the hero of it, second son Mahesh who is looking after the Akshay audio, is in an important role while producer Siddaraju mother Ambuja is also appearing as character artistes in the film.

‘Yaksha’ is the film in which Nana Patekar appears for the first time in Kannada in the role of a cop. Ramesh Bhagawath is making debut as director. The film has completed a peppy song Aunti Kelu Antapura….Uncle Kelu Bentapura….featuring Yogish and Roobi the new heroine.

Completing the talkie portions well in advance ‘Yaksha’ is yet to can three songs. Anoop Seelin is the cameraman and Chandrasekhar is heading the camera unit.

Atul Kulkarni, Master Hirannaiah, Girish Mattannavar (Chairman of Kanteerava studios), Sharan are also in the cast.
