From the very first sequence in her debut movie ‘Aakashagopuram’ young actress Nithya Menon has proved that she can match even the likes of Lal when it comes to natural acting. Her performance in the ‘Happy Journey’ was another proof of her ability to match versatile genius like Jagathy, in frame to frame. An intelligent actress, Nithya Menon don't hurry to pocket every offer that comes her way, but is now known to select her roles with flair. After these two films she was impressive in 'Angel John', where she was paired again with Mohanlal and Santhanu. The only movie that didn't work for her in her carefully selected short career is I V Sasi’s ‘Vellathooval’, that had much more reasons to falter.

Anyhow, she is now enjoying another role of potential in Sibi Malayil's comeback movie ‘Apoorva Ragangal’. In this movie she will share the screen space with young actors of 'Rithu'- Nishan and Asif Ali. The movie is said to be a love story with a difference, which will workout well with the young audience.

Nithya had recently finished Lenin Rajendran's ‘Makaramanju’ and is reported to be doing the lead role in Santhosh Sivan's next big movie.
