The remake mania is getting wilder and wilder. Now remakes are not restricted to Tamil and Telugu as it was earlier. Even the critically acclaimed Malayalam film industry is changing its colour and plunging into remakes to commercially survive. Slowly Malayalam film industry is also becoming one like the flamboyant Tamil and Telugu.
Now taking the remake craze to a new level is Malayalam director Pramod Pappan. He will be remaking the 1985 super hit of Kamal Haasan ÂKakki ChattaiÂ. The classic Tamil action film was produced by Sathya Movies and directed by Rajashekar. Prithiviraj will play the under cover super cop role played by Kamal Haasan.
Prithviraj in the role played by Kamal Haasan? The actor must be very lucky. But who will match Sathyaraj as the villain? Tough one this is.
