Sreenivasan with a GIFT to Mollywood

Ace actor and director, Sreenivasan is planning to start a film institute in Kerala. Named as Global Institute of Film Technology (GIFT), the project will be realized as a part of the activities of the Vaghbhadanandha Educational and Cultural Trust, Thalassery.

As per the plans, the institute will host a Teaching campus, Shooting floor, Dubbing and editing studios, Digital library, research centre Museum and a guest house. The trust is planning to acquire 75 acres of land for this Film Institute, earmarking 25 crores for the project. The proposed institute which has Sreenivasan as the chairman will also have celebrities like M Mukundhan, Priyadarshan, K S Chithra, P V Abdul Wahab M. P, K Balakrishnan and Ramanandhan as its members.
