Clarity in thoughts. This is how one may describe Madhavan in one sentence. The actor not just measures his words, but steps too. And he is aware of where he is and what is his position in film industry, especially Tamil cinema.

“I am no mass hero. I have not earned fans who would jump with joy when I appear on screen. My fans are mostly middle class people who would watch a film only if they come to know that the movie is good,” he says.

Saying that he has not come across an interesting storyline after ‘Yavarum Nalam’, the actor attributes this as a reason for not acting in Tamil films. “But you can see me back in Kollywood soon. Plans are on pipeline,” he says.

On his son Vedanth, Maddy says, “Many say that his smile resembles me a lot. I am happy about it. And you know what? He is just four years and he knows four languages- Tamil, Marathi, Hindi and English.”
